NASHVILLE, TN
Police say a person of interest has been identified in a connection with a shooting at a Nashville Waffle House that killed four people and injured two more.
ABC Philadelphia (@6abc) reports, the Nashville Police Department says the gunman arrived at the restaurant in a vehicle registered to 29-year old Travis Reinking of Morton, Illinois. Nashville Police say six (6) people were shot, including the four who died. Police say the suspect was armed with a rifle when he entered the restaurant and open fired. Three people died at the scene. A fourth person died later at the hospital.
Police say a patron was able to wrestle the rifle away from the gunman, who then fled the restaurant on foot. Police are still looking for the semi-nude suspect who was last seen wearing nothing but a green jacket. Police say the suspect shed his jacket as he fled, so he may be completely nude right now, unless he had clothes stashed away somewhere, or found some during his escape. Police recovered the suspect’s weapon at the restaurant.
