DALLAS, TEXAS
1950 pounds of Meth, estimated to be worth over $45 million, were discovered by a police dog during a traffic stop of a refrigerated tractor trailer in Denton County on October 8th. An article in The Dallas Morning News (@dallasnews) said the drugs had been stashed inside a secret compartment in the tractor trailer. The 1950 pounds of Meth had been split up into 633 packages, ready for distribution. The DEA said the drugs would’ve likely ended up in Texas, Chicago, St. Louis, and Atlanta. The DEA believes the drugs were smuggled across the US – Mexico border by drug traffickers working with the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. (CJNG)
