76ERS COME ONE STEP CLOSER TO COMPLETING “THE PROCESS” AFTER BLOWOUT WIN GIVES THEM A 3-0 SERIES LEAD

WASHINGTON, D.C

It really didn’t matter where they would’ve played, I believe the result would’ve still been the same. A blowout win for the Philadelphia 76ers. The Wizards are clearly outmatched. And unlike other 76ers teams of old, this Doc Rivers, coached team does not play down to the level of competition they’re matched up against. My series prediction was 4-1 Sixers. That was because I fully expected the Wizards to go out there and give it their absolute best, considering they were back in front of their home crowd after two straight blowout losses in Philly. The Wizards’ best was a 132-103 blowout loss, in front of their home crowd yesterday.

The 76ers were led by Joel Embiid’s playoff career high 36 pts. Big Jo-Jo added 8 rebounds and 3 assists to go along with the career high in points. In all honesty, Embiid looked unstoppable out there yesterday. All season, really. Can anybody in the East really beat the 76ers without having a Center capable of matching up with Embiid? Anyway, Tobias Harris had another solid game, tossing in 20 pts, 13 rebs, and 5ast. Russel Westbrook padded his stats with another meaningless triple double (26, 12, 10). The 76ers will be looking to put Westbrook, Beal, and the rest of the Wizards, out of their misery on Monday night in Washington.
