The victim was reportedly found shot inside a vehicle, and was rushed to an unnamed hospital in the area, where he died at a later time. Investigators say they believe the incident started when several people on dirt bikes began following the victim as he drove down the street in his car. At some point during the chase, the victim pulled over to allow a passenger in the car to go into the corner store. One of the dirt bike riders then took advantage of the opportunity, and pulled up and pumped six shots into the vehicle. The victim was shot three times. No one else was injured.

“Information on the scene, based from the witnesses, include that this is possibly a road rage incident. We’re not certain of that, the investigation is still ongoing, but that is possible.”

Philadelphia Police Inspector, D.F. Pace said on Friday.
