ATLANTA, GEORGIA
35-year old, Santwon Antonio Davis, of Atlanta, to three years in prison and ordered him to pay almost $200,000 in restitution to his former employer. This is in relation to Davis submitting a fake Covid test to get out of work. After an investigation, more fraud was found.

Forbes Magazine reported, Justice Department officials say Davis submitted a fraudulent Covid-19 test showing he tested positive in May of 2020. An investigation of the Covid claims, revealed that not only had Davis lied this time, but he also lied back in 2019, when he took “unwarranted” time off, after he claimed a child, that turned out did not exist, had died.

The fraud charge comes from Davis submitting numerous fraudulent statements, including a falsified earnings and employment history while on pretrial release for defrauding his employer. The mortgage company said they found the fraud after seeing news coverage of Davis fake Covid tests.
