ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE)
The United Arab Emirates said they intercepted two ballistic missiles that were headed for the Capital City of Abu Dhabi on Monday. According to a report from UPI NEWS, the UAE has blamed a group of Houthi rebels, who are believed to be backed by Iran, for the attacks.

The UAE Defense Ministry said the attempted attack did not result in any casualties. The Defense ministry said “the remnants of the intercepted and destroyed missile fell in separate areas around the Emirate Of Abu Dhabi.”

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack on Abu Dhabi yet, but this latest attack took place after the Houthi Militia in Yemen took credit for a drone strike that exploded three oil tankers and killed three people in the UAE. The UAE retaliated by carrying out airstrikes targeting Houthi camps and territories in Sana’a….the capital of Yemen.
