A 13-year old boy was is currently hospitalized in stable condition, after being shot in North Philly on Friday evening. A report from The Philadelphia Inquirer said the shooting happened in the area of 16th & Edgely Streets, at around 6 p.m.

Police say, the teen and several other boys were walking West on Edgely Street near Duckrey Public School. As the group were walking, someone fired at least ten shots at them from behind, hitting the teen once in the buttocks. He was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
The group were reportedly on their way to a party when the shooting started. It’s not known if the 13-year old victim was the intended target. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made so far.
