Philadelphia Police said multiple gunmen pumped 31 shots into a car that was parked in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city. A 6 ABC ACTION NEWS report said the shooting happened on the 1900 block of North 32nd Street in North Philly, at around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Police found a shooting victim in the driver’s seat of a Hyundai sedan when they arrived at the scene. The car’s engine reportedly was still running when police showed up.
“It appears the shooters were firing into this vehicle from every direction. Some of the spent shell casings were on the passenger side of the vehicle, some were in front of the vehicle, and most of the spent shell casings were on the driver’s side of the vehicle. This appears to be an execution due to the fact the car’s hit so many times and the victim is hit multiple times.”
Said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Smalls. Police said the victim is in his 20’s, but they did not release his name.
No suspects have been named and no one has been arrested, but police say they have surveillance that shows three men walk up to the victims car, begin firing, and then flee.
