30-year old, Jamal Rose and his wife, 30-year old DaShonna Rose, both have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of drug and gun charges, Delaware County District Attorney, Jack Stollsteimer announced on Thursday. According to a report from the DAILY VOICE, the arrests came as the result of a month-long investigation by the Delaware County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Folcroft & Glenolden Police Departments.
Authorities showed up to the Rose’s home on Grant Road to arrest Jamal Rose on March 14th. Police reportedly found cocaine, marijuana, cash, a phone, and a folding knife inside of the residence.
Police came back to the residence with a search warrant after arresting Jamal Rose. This time DaShonna Rose was home. A search of the residence reportedly led to the discovery of:
- One Smith & Wesson M&P Shield, plus ammo
- One Taurus 709Slim 9mm, plus 50 rounds of ammo
- One Kel-Tec P11, 9mm Lugar plus ammo
- Cocaine (amount not specified)
- Marijuana (amount not specified)
- Drug Paraphernalia (type nor amount specified)
- More than $25,000 cash
Jamal Rose was arraigned and had his bail set at 10% of $25,000. DaShonna Rose’s bail was set at $150,000. The married couple are currently being held at George W. Hill Correctional Facility. A dual preliminary hearing has been set for March 30th, 2022.
