20-year old, Timothy Starks, Also Known As “Baby Cino”, was shot and killed in what authorities called an “ambush”, moments after being released from a city jail.

According to a report from THE GUARDIAN, Starks was pulled over for a traffic stop, and eventually arrested by Miami-Dade Police officers at around 2 a.m. in Opa-Locka, Florida early on Tuesday morning. Starks was initially pulled over for driving with an obscured number plate. After searching his car, police officers found a fully-loaded Glock 32 pistol. Starks was taken into custody at that point.
Starks was released from Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Facility at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, after making bond. He was picked up in a red Nissan by his friend, Dante Collins Banks. They drove for a block and were about to turn onto the Palmetto Expressway, when a gunman in another vehicle opened fire on the Nissan, right there in mid-day traffic.
Starks was reportedly shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Banks was shot in the stomach. He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was last reported to be in critical condition.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
