Lebanon, P.A. Mayor, Sherry Capello said that a Pennsylvania Police Officer was killed and two more officers were injured while responding to a domestic disturbance call yesterday. A report from The Associated Press said police went to a home in the city (location not provided in report) at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, to respond to the domestic disturbance complaint.

At a news conference, Mayor Capello said that gunfire broke out about an hour after police arrived, she did not go into details about what went on between the time the officers arrived on scene, and the time the shooting started, but did go on to say “this is a difficult moment for everyone involved.”
Lebanon Police Chief, Todd Breiner said the suspect was killed in the exchange of gunfire between himself and police officers. The 34-year old suspect was reportedly a resident of Lebanon. No further details have been made available to the public at this time.
