Long-time ESPN anchor, Sage Steele is reportedly suing the network. Steele has reportedly followed a lawsuit against her employer. In the suit, Steel says her “free-speech” rights were violated. A report in the WALL STREET JOURNAL said Steele’s lawsuit stems from an appearance she made on former NFL Quarterback, Jay Cutler’s podcast last year.

Steele was allegedly taken off air for comments she made during the interview. Steele said her being yanked off air was the result of comments she made about former president, Barack Obama, and comments she also made about Covid-19.
