22-year old, Camilo Banoslopez was reportedly killed on the recreation yard at a prison in California, after an attack on Friday, according to prison officials. A report from the ASSOCIATED PRESS said, Banoslopez was attacked and killed by four inmates at the “high-security” Sacramento State Prison.

Banoslopez’s murder is the third at a California prison this week. In all three homicides, a homemade weapon was used. An inmate was killed at the Salinas Valley State Prison on Tuesday. Another inmate was murdered at Kern Valley State Prison on Thursday.
Banoslopez was arrested as a juvenile, and was serving an 8-year prison sentence for robbery and inflicting great bodily injury during a gang attack, according to prison officials. He was attacked by 30-year old, Irvin Rodriguez, 36-year old, Osbaldo Velasquez, and 39-year old, Jose Avila. All of the men are alleged to be gang members, and were all serving lengthy prison sentences, according to prison officials.
