The search for escaped prison inmate, 38-year old, Casey white, and his accomplice and former correctional officer, 56-year old, Vicky White, came to an end on Monday. According to a report from the Associated Press, the pair were captured in Evansville, Indiana, when the car the couple were driving, was crashed into by U.S. Marshals who were in hot pursuit of the fugitives.
Casey White was reportedly arrested without incident. 56-year old, Vicky White, didn’t allow herself to be taken into custody as easily as her travel companion. She reportedly shot herself rather than be taken into custody. Vicky White was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital, but police did not immediately release any details about her condition.
