One person was killed and 5 more people were injured after a shooting at a church in Orange County, California, this afternoon. According to a report from ABC-7, dispatch received the call of a shooting at around 1:26. The location was the Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods.
One person was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were last reported to be in critical condition. All of the victims were adults, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
One person has been reportedly detained and sheriff’s deputies reported recovering a weapon at the scene. No details about a motive or identity of the person in custody has been released to the public at this time….
