A 16-year old boy was reportedly shot 7 times near a school in West Philadelphia this afternoon. A report from NBC-10 Philly said, the incident happened at around 2:49 p.m. on the 1500 block of North 52nd Street.

The victim was reportedly sitting on the curb at the Parkside Shopping Center, when a gunman in a black SUV opened fire on the teenager. The victim was shot four times in the stomach, twice in the chest, and once in the right shoulder. The teenage victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition.
The 16-year old is reportedly a student at KIPP Dubois Collegiate Academy, located at 5070 Parkside Avenue, not too far from where the victim was shot.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
