38-year old, Anthony Jones, of Wilmington was sentenced to 21-years in prison for his role in a sex trafficking ring that reportedly targeted women and children in multiple states. A 6 ABC Action News report said, Jones was found guilty of multiple charges back in April of 2019. Those charges included conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion. Plus three more counts of sex trafficking of minors by force, fraud, and coercion. Jones reportedly helped manage the sex trafficking enterprise of Dkyle Bridges, according to court papers.

Jones was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $15,160 to his victims, and 10-years of supervised release after serving his prison sentence.
“The multi-year sex trafficking conspiracy preyed on teenage girls and young women looking for a home and support. Once lured into the trafficking circle, the victims were compelled to engage in commercial sex acts in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and elsewhere, for the co-defendants’ financial benefit,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
Bridges is said to have used violent and coercive tactics on his victims to force them to remain in the sex trafficking operation, if they attempted to get out. Some of Bridges’ tactics included choking them, assaulting them, and pouring water on them to keep them awake, according to the indictment.
Bridges was sentenced to 35-years in prison for his role in the organization. (Click the link “Bridges” in the 1st paragraph for more about the case and co-defendants)
