47-year old, Anthony Nelson was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals on Wednesday. Nelson is accused of killing21-year old, Jailene Holton, an innocent bystander, as he shot up a bar in Northeast Philadelphia last month. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened At The Philly Bar & Restaurant in Northeast Philly, at around 11:30 p.m. on June 28th.

According to police, the incident began when employees attempted to throw three men out of the bar. Two left without much trouble, but the third customer had to be forcefully removed from the premises.
The man that had to be forcefully removed is alleged to have been Nelson, who then walked to his pickup truck and returned to the bar. He stood about 200 feet away from the business as he fired 15-shots into the bar. All three men fled the scene in the pickup truck together.
Nelson was tracked to Atlantic City, by investigators who began their search for the wanted suspect in Philadelphia.
“A lot of our investigators on the task force have children. This was an unnecessary random act of violence. It’s a horrific act and we’re just grateful we were able to get out there and get him into custody in under 12 hours. We started at 5:30 a.m. (Wednesday) morning, exhausted some leads here in the city of Philadelphia. We had some other things we needed to run down in South Jersey and, lo and behold, we found a spot for him at Harrah’s Casino”, said Supervisory Deputy Marshal Robert Clark, who was present with the task force at the time of Nelson’s arrest.
Nelson is reportedly faci8ng murder charges, and is expected to be extradited back to Philly to face those charges, any day now, according to Philadelphia Police.
Police did not say if the other two men with Nelson were also facing charges.
