One person has been reported dead and seven more are reported injured, after a multi-vehicle, wrong-way crash on an exit ramp on I-95. 6 ABC Action news reported that the accident happened on I-95 near the Academy Road exit in Torresdale.
A Mitsubishi Mirage and a Mercury Grand Marquis, heading the wrong way on the exit ramp, were hit head-on by a Nissan heading in the correct direction. The male driver of the Mirage was pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers (including a baby) in the Mirage were rushed to the hospital where all three were last reported to be in critical condition.
No charges have been filed in the accident at this time, but police said an investigation was ongoing……
