A 26-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in the Tacony section of the city earlier this week. A PHL-17.com report said the incident happened on the 7400 block of State Road at around 8 p.m. on Monday night.
The victim was reportedly shot throughout the body. He was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Witnesses reported seeing a man flee the scene after the shooting, but did not give a description of the suspect. Police did not give any word on a possible motive for the shooting.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made at this time.
