The Justice Department unsealed charges against Adam Bies (no age given) of Mercer P.A., in connection to death threats made to F.B.I. Agents. The charges against Bies were unsealed on Monday morning, according to a report from 6 ABC Action News.
Bies is alleged to have made multiple threats to federal agents on the social media site Gab. Federal Agents became aware of Bies social media activity after the FBI raid at former president Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago property on August 8th.
“I sincerely believe that if you work for the F.B.I, then you deserve to DIE. My only goal is to kill more of them before I drop. I will not spend one second of my life in their custody”, Bies reportedly posted on his Gab account under the screen name ‘BlankFocus’ on August 11th.
Bies has been charged with influencing, impeding or retaliating against federal law enforcement officers. The F.B.I said they are investigating an “unprecedented” number of death threats against the Bureau, after the raid at the Mar-A-Lago property owned by the former president. Bies has not entered a plea yet, according to court documents.
There was no word given on when Bies’ next court appearance will be.
