A man was reportedly found shot to death inside of a vehicle in the Germantown section of the city overnight. A report from CBS-3 Philly said the victim was shot at the intersection of Apsley & Greene Streets at around 1:30 a.m. early on Friday morning.
Police said the victim crashed the vehicle shortly after being shot. Police said they found a water bottle and a sneaker near the car, but did not spot any bullet holes in the vehicle.
Shortly afterward, a 21-year old man showed up at the hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect is known to police. He reportedly refused to explain how or where he was injured. Police believe he was the shooter or one of the shooters in the murder at Apsley & Greene Streets.
