A man and a woman were hospitalized after being shot in the Ogontz section of the city this afternoon. According to a Fox-29 report, the incident happened on the 1800 block of Stenton Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding a 30-year old man who was suffering from 8 gunshot wounds throughout the body, and a 30-year old woman who was also shot in an undisclosed location on the body.
The male and female victims were taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where both victims were last reported to be in stable condition. Police did not immediately report on a possible motive for the shooting.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, but no suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
