Philadelphia Police are reportedly investigating a series of Friday night carjackings they believe may have been committed by the same group of individuals. A 6 ABC Action News report said the first of the jackings happened on the 1800 block of American Street at around 10:25 p.m. on Friday night.

The second jacking happened shortly after midnight. This time, a driver was carjacked on the 6600 block of Large Street. Just 15 minutes later another jacking occurred at 5th Street & Olney Avenue. Then, at around 12:30 a.m. another carjacking was reported on the 7300 block of Crispin Street.

In each case, the victims described two to four men who reportedly either acted like they needed help, or blocked the driver in before pulling a gun and stealing the vehicle. No injuries were reported in any of the carjackings.

No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
