A shooting in the Port Richmond section of the city left a 40-year old man critically injured last night. A Fox-29 Philly report said the incident happened on the 2200 block of East Clearfield Street at around 7:52 p.m. on Monday night.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a total of 10 gunshot wounds (8 times in the right arm, one time in the chest, and once in the hip). He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. Police did not give any word on a possible motive for the shooting.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
