A suspect has reportedly been arrested in the shooting outside of Roxborough High School that killed 14-year old, Nicolas Elizalde, of Havertown, P.A. last month. A 6 ABC Action News report said 21-year old, Yaseen Bivins, has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault and one count of murder.

Four additional teenagers were also injured in the deadly shooting. According to police, it is very likely that the 14-year old victim was not one of the shooters’ intended targets.
At the time of the shooting, Bivins was reportedly awaiting sentencing for a drag race, that ended with Bivins hitting and severely injuring a pregnant woman, and killing the child she was carrying. According to court records, Bivins beat the most serious charge of third-degree murder, but was convicted of aggravated assault by vehicle, and causing a vehicular death while driving unlicensed.
There was no date given for Bivins’ next court appearance.
