According to a report from TMZ.com this afternoon, Kanye West is no longer a billionaire. This dip in Ye’s pockets comes after Adidas became the third major brand to cut ties with the artist in the last week or so.
Forbes officially removed Ye from the billionaire’s list on Tuesday morning. Forbes noted that the Adidas, Gap, and a few other deals Ye were dropped from, were a HUGE part of his wealth. At his high point around 2 years ago, Ye was worth a reported $1.3 Billion. After the Adidas news, Forbes has Ye’s worth at around $400 million, currently.
I know, I know, Ye still has more money than all of us put together, blah, blah blah…….BUT, even you have to admit…..going from being worth $1.3 billion to $400 million is a hell of a dip to take in a two year period. No?
