Three people were reportedly shot and injured after a gunman fired into a crowd of people who were standing on a street corner in the Mantua section of the city last night. A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on 39th & Aspen Streets at around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday evening.

Neighbors said they were holding a vigil for a community member who’d recently passed away when the shooting broke out:
A 35-year old man was reportedly grazed in the back. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
A 42-year old woman was reportedly shot twice. Once in the back and once in the stomach. She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by police, where she was last reported to be in stable condition.
A 26-year old man was shot once in the buttocks. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he too, was last reported to be in stable condition. The report did not give any information about a possible motive for the shooting.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
