An unidentified man reported to be in his 20’s, was shot 11-times and killed on a moving subway train on Septa’s Broad Street Line in the Spring Garden section of the city this afternoon. An NBC-10 Philly report said the incident happened near the Broad & Fairmount station at around 2:42 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

The suspect reportedly open fired on the train hitting the victim 11 times throughout his body. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. No motive for the shooting was reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
