A woman was reportedly assaulted during a home invasion in the Frankford section of the city early this morning. A CBS-3 Philly report said the incident happened on the 4600 block of Worth Street at around 3 a.m. on Monday morning.
Police say a suspect assaulted a woman and stole a cell phone before fleeing. A shell casing was reportedly found in the basement of the home, but no one was injured. There was no description given of the suspect. No arrests were made.
