A 41-year old male pedestrian was reportedly hit by an SUV before becoming stuck underneath the vehicle in North Philadelphia overnight.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at Broad Street & Cecil B. Moore Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
A BMW reportedly jumped the curb at the intersection and struck the victim. He became trapped underneath the SUV. It took rescue crews around 10 minutes to free the victim. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition.
It’s unclear at the moment whether or not charges will be filed against the driver of the SUV.
