One person has reportedly been taken into police custody as a “person of interest” in a shooting at a hookah bar near Temple University, that left three people injured.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened outside of the Hubble Bubble Hookah Lounge on 10th & Diamond Streets at around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning. The lounge is located right across the street from Temple University’s practice football field.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was being kicked out of the lounge by security when he pulled a gun. The security guard pulled out his weapon and shot the suspect once in the left side. The suspect returned fire, hitting three women inside of the hookah bar. The three victims aged between 19-47 years old, were all last reported to be in stable condition.
Police said the suspect in custody is listed as “a person of interest” at this time. No other arrests have been reported.
