An unidentified 49-year old man was reportedly shot while using an ATM in the Mayfair section of the city tonight.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 6400 block of Roosevelt Boulevard at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night.
The victim was reportedly using the ATM when he was shot in the chest. First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim semiconscious inside of his Mercedes. Investigators said the victim managed to make it to his car from the ATM a short distance away before passing out. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. Police said they believe robbery was the motive for the shooting.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
