An unidentified man was found dead by police in the Nicetown section of the city early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said police were called to the 3700 block of Germantown Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. for a call of a fight taking place in the area.
First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported, but police said they have the killing on surveillance video.
Two suspects were seen on surveillance video fleeing the scene after the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time. A police investigation is ongoing.
