A 20-year old, unidentified man was reportedly shot multiple times and killed while another man reported to be 37-year old, was shot multiple times and injured during a double shooting in the Kensington section of the city this afternoon.

A report from KYW-News Radio said the shooting happened near Somerset Street & Kensington Avenue at around 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The 20-year old man was reportedly shot throughout the body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The 37-year old man was shot at least 3-times according to the report. His current condition was not reported, but he is expected to survive, according to police. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No arrests were made in the shooting at that time, but police nearby spotted the hooded suspect run into an apartment on top of a storefront. Police said the suspect barricaded himself inside of the apartment and refused to come out. The suspect eventually surrendered, without incident at around 4:20 p.m. The suspect was last reported to be in police custody.
