An unidentified 30-year old man was arrested after he crashed a stolen car that had a 9-year old child in the passenger’s seat.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the suspect stole the 2012 silver Acura with the child inside from the 5600 block of 5th Street on Saturday night.
Investigators said the suspect crashed the car shortly after stealing it and heading southbound. He was arrested and taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries. The child was last reported to be receiving medical treatment. Her current condition was not reported.
No information was released about how the suspect stole the car with the child inside. The incident is under investigation.
