Two men were reportedly shot and killed during a double shooting in the Wynnefield section of the city early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 1700 block of North Ruby Street at around 3 a.m. on Monday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding two victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. A 31-year old man and a 26-year old man. One of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim died shortly after arriving at the hospital. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
Police also said they found a stolen 9mm gun, a pair of welder’s gloves, and a spark plug at the scene. Police said that may be an indication that a possible car break-in may have been involved. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
