A 15-year old male was reportedly shot inside of his car before running into a nearby Wawa store for help in the Port Richmond section of the city early this morning.

A CBS-3 Philly report said the shooting happened outside of the Wawa on Aramingo Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The teen was shot while sitting inside of a car in front of Wawa. He ran into the store for help after being shot. First arriving police at the scene reported finding the teen victim, conscious, talking, and walking inside of the store despite being shot in the torso and arm.
“You see the victim’s car pulling up to Aramingo Avenue from the Wawa, and another vehicle pulls into the parking lot, pulls up next to the victim’s vehicle. And we believe shots were fired from vehicle to vehicle”, said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition, after undergoing emergency surgery. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
