A 19-year old man was reportedly shot in the Parkside section of the city last night.
A report from 6 ABC Action News said the shooting happened at North 53rd & Poplar Streets at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
